Neretva and Cetina

We leave Split first day in our vans. After 2- 2,5 hours we reach the Vid village on the small Norin river, the Neretva’s tributary. In ancient times the great sea port of Narona used to be in that area, and the area is full of ancient Roman remnants nowadays. We will see a lot of those remnants in the archaeological collection. After that, we begin our sailing down the Norin in the traditional local boats, through narrow channels to a beautiful holiday resort in the heart of the marsh, where traditional local lunch - eel and frog stew - waits for us. During the lunch and the short rest local musicians will play and sing traditional songs for us. After that we continue to sail through the marsh to our vans, which drive us to the cute local inn by the Cetina river for a dinner and overnight.
Next day after breakfast we drive to a horse farm near the river to ride the horses in the beautiful green scenery between the field and the river. Then we return in our inn for the lunch and the recreation with soccer and/or traditional local bowling. After lunch we go to the river and paddle canoes some 13 kilometers down the river, where our vans wait for us.
