Our
staff
Ante
Ribicic,
the paddler, diver, fisherman, paraglider, off road driver and, above
all, our guarding angel. If you think you are lost in the middle of
nowhere, if you are cold, wet, tired, thirsty or hungry, do not worry.
He is never far away, driving in his car a plenty of food and beverages
or anything you could possibly need. Even if your canoe was overthrown
(which is almost impossible), he will soon appear in his inflatable
rescue boat and save you and your stuff. When you are tired of paddling
at the end of the day, you can be sure that he is waiting for you behind
next turn of the river and cooking delicous stew in a small kettle on
the campfire.Ante used to work in a bank, but he left boring job in
a boring grey town and started his adventure of a lifetime.
Ognjen
Vukadinovic, former national park ranger,
very experienced in a field work of any kind and the outdoor
activities. He is speleologist, paddler, mountaineer, birdwatcher etc.
Drava river is his second home. Well…. first, in fact. Neretva is
second. He is a stranger in the crowded city streets. But, he will lead
you safely through the wilderness and show you all the birds or other
animals, plants, hidden channels, flooded forests, tiny beaches etc.
Nature has no secrets for him.
Mihovil
Burić, former professional soldier, with a
lot of outdoor experience, paddler. When his career in the army was
finished, he could not stand quiet life. And he found new adventures in
“Falco tours”.
Gvido
Piasevoli, the biologist and nature conservationist,
with special interest in ecotourism, as a form of nature protection
through sustainable economic activities. He is an expert in management
of protected areas and species and an experienced ornithologist and
birdwatcher. As a paddler, he has paddled both white and flat water,
as well as the sea. “There is nothing like paddling easily through the
marsh and watching birds closely, if you ask me. And hot fish stew on
the campfire at the end of the day.”
