Unknown Dalmatia

We leave Split first day in our vans and after less than an hour we reach the Malin farm in Dalmatian hinterland. There we will have a short break with refreshment near the creek, in the deep shade of old trees. After that we will drive up the mountain to see the beautiful view and to visit an interesting cave. A small refreshment will wait for us in the cave itself, too. In the meantime our lunch with local specialities will be ready. After lunch and a short rest in our rooms we will be ready for the special adventure - a magic night paddling under the light of torches down the river. The dinner after that will be not only an ordinary dinner, but during it our host will tell us the interesting story of an ancient Roman “football”, which used to be played in that area two thousand years ago. And it is occasionally organized even nowadays. Besides Roman “football” that tavern is also known for old Roman dishes, which were quite different to what we eat today.

Tomorrow, after the breakfast, we drive to the Labin village, where the special paintball ground is situated in the forest. We will play extremely interesting and exciting war game in the virgin natural environment and develop the spirit of team work and cooperation of team members. After the “war”, winners or losers, but satisfied, hungry and tired in both cases, we will have the best barbecue ever. During our drive back to Split, perhaps some of us will even sleep in the van.
